Business casual attire is appropriate for all business functions, as well as all evening functions. It is recommended you pack a light jacket or sweater for outdoor functions and/or cool temperatures in session rooms.

Travel and Hotel

We are pleased to announce the negotiated room rate is $319 USD per night. Based upon your registration, SE2 will reserve your room for you. Upon your arrival, you will be asked to provide your personal credit card for all guest room charges and incidentals. Please be advised that all pre/post-meeting accommodations are not considered confirmed until SE2 has confirmed availability with The Rtiz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. A SE2 representative will contact you directly in the event that your pre/post-meeting request cannot be accommodated.

Please Note: The discounted group rate is available until Thursday, August 25, 2017 or until the event’s room block is filled, whichever is first. Reservations received after this date will be made on a space-available basis at the hotel’s prevailing rate.
Note: In order to avoid fees, you must cancel your reservation by 3:00 PM the day prior to your scheduled arrival. Please contact SE2 via email at if you need to cancel your registration.

We recommend that you fly in to the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) which is located just 15 minutes away from the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C.

However, we’ve included all the local airports for your consideration:

  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) located 35 minutes/26 miles
  • Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) located 55 minutes/33.5 miles

In September, temperatures average 70⁰F to 80⁰F. But be sure to dress in layers because the weather can change quickly. Check before you arrive.
